The site was historically occupied by a pub with residential accommodation on the upper floors.
The previous owner obtained planning permission for the demolition of the existing pub and its replacement with a mixed-use asset with a retained public house on the basement and ground floors and flats above.
Logic Planning successfully argued that a new pub in this location would not be viable and submitted an alternative proposal for a fully-residential scheme.
Once completed, the development will include a mix of family units and smaller units for professionals and single households, high-performance fabric and fenestration of a sleek contemporary design and extensive green and blue roofs.
