Logic Planning expertly navigated the complexities of lawful development certificates to prove that the historic community land use of this non-designated heritage asset located in a highly sustainable location in south London was replaced by a low-intensity storage use.
Flanked by a modern block of flats on one side and by a primary school on the other, the building was in very poor condition and perfectly suited for a careful conversion. In cooperation with the Council, the design team proposed a blended approach of retention and demolition and proposed a balanced mix of six boutique flats.
Thanks to the detailed analysis of environmental impacts prepared by the consultants chosen by Logic Planning, the Council agreed that the new volumes would not have negative impacts on neighbouring residents, notwithstanding the proximity of windows and the tight urban grain of the site.
